Ever receive a notice in the mail, or even e-mail regarding renewing your domain? Not sure what to do? We have the answers!

First off, please remember that as long as your domain is hosted with us and you had not transferred your domain, we always automatically renew your domain name when it comes due. No worries!

Did you get an e-mail from us about your account? Please read it carefully. It may only be a reminder for your monthly (or bi-yearly or yearly) hosting fee. Your domain is part of your hosting package (as long as it wasn't transferred) and thus you do not have to worry about renewing as long as you pay the required hosting fee.

What if you transferred your domain to Active Web Hosting? Can we automatically renew it? Yes, as long as your domain is hosted with Active Web Hosting, we will always renew your domain name free of charge. If you transfer your domain from Active Web Hosting to another hosting service, then we will no longer be able to automatically renew your domain name when it is about to expire. There are instances where we may be able to renew the domain name for a fee.

There may be times when you may get an e-mail from us asking you to review your "WHOIS" information and keep it current. This is actually sent by the domain registrar (the entity that registers domains on the internet) for us. If your information is correct you need not do anything. If, however, you need to make changes, do not contact the registrar. Contact us at support@activewebhosting.com so we can change this information for you.

Have you received a letter or what looks like a bill asking you to renew one of your domains? Do nothing! We have found that some of these letters or supposed "bills" are scams. Please remember we renew domain names automatically so you will never receive a bill for domain renewal from us!
