Filtering Spam
Spam. Bleh. We all hate it. Some would rather eat the canned stuff than look at
all the junk e-mail that gets dumped into their inboxes. Filtering out spam can
be a tedious process. Fortunately, we provide our customers with an excellent
spam filtering system on the mail servers. Just by default your mail is
automatically rated according to the possibility of it being spam. Have you seen
some mail come in with the subject line starting with *SPAM ? That is our
spam filtering system working. This makes it easy for you to filter your e-mail
from your web based or POP e-mail client. We use this system because it has less
risk of you losing important e-mail. Of course, we realize that some may not
wish to have spam filtering on the server side, or may want to just provide their
own filtering from their e-mail clients. If you wish to have the spam filtering
system removed from your mail server on your domain, please let us know by e-mailing
us at support@activewebhosting.com.
We will then set the domain so that mail to that domain does not go through the
spam filter, but instead goes directly to your inboxes on that domain. Please
be sure to let us know which domain on which you want the filtering turned off.

You can also customize the filtering of any of your email addresses using

Unfortunately, spam is an undesireable part of the internet experience. However,
we have ways to help send those nasty e-mails packing. Please
