You can use just about any FTP program to access your site directory to upload your web page files. You will need to learn how to use the FTP program in order to set it up. Any standards compliant FTP program should work well with your web server. Below are the main items you'll need to input into the FTP program's setup to connect to your site directory:

Host Name: ftp.yourdomain.com where yourdomain.com is your actual domain name.

Username or User ID: This is your actual domain name such as yourdomain.com.

Password: The FTP password you were emailed when you signed up for hosting. This is different from your Account Administration and other passwords.

NOTE:

Active Web Hosting's servers work best if you disable Passive Mode in your FTP program.
