How To Request A CGI Account
Your Active Web Hosting account includes the capability to run CGI scripts. This includes scripts written in PHP or Perl. Before you can run these scripts, you need to have an active CGI account on your domain. If you do not have one set up yet, follow the steps below to request your CGI account.
Log into the Account Administration Page with your domain name and domain password.
In the Domain Information area, click on the domain you wish to request a CGI account for.
You can then click on the link in the CGI Server area to request a CGI account.
Choose a password you can remember. This should be different from your FTP and domain password.
You will be sent an E-Mail confirmation when your CGI account is set up. To upload files to your CGI server, use your FTP program and set up a separate login using the host cgi.yourdomain.com where yourdomain.com would be your actual domain name. Use your domain name as the username as well.
